This web site is about the "construction:" of a society. It is based on the sociological analysis of five
ancient
texts.
Because, these days, such an approach is rarely taken to these texts, the texts themselves are being presented in
other
Reality Search sites rather than here.
This site instead, concentrates on the underlying structure that appears to undergird the five texts. These were
written
at a time when there was a clash of cultures between a Judaic world view, largely based on time, and a Hellenistic
world
view that was (and is) largely based on place. In fact at the time the first of the five texts was written the Graeco Roman
Empire was in the process of trying to obliterate the Judaic world.
Where did such an attempt leave the writer of the first text? He began to pull together stories being handed down,
about
historical instigation of a hybrid society that could pick up on the best characteristics of each.
A sociological
analysis of this first text shows how he picks up on the theme of recognising and defining Law and Order.

The second and third ancient texts were largely reliant on the first one. However the writers wanted to elaborate
on the
outline given.

The second writer focussed on the best qualities of a society based upon time and law. Remember natural
law is observed within the frameworks of cause and effect. It also shows the dynamics within a functional family
and
tribe.

The third writer wanted to focus on the best qualities of a society that is based upon place and order. Remember
such a
society is geared towards overcoming chaos and has an emphasis on rationalism. Such a society can be seen to
function in
a multicultural urban environment.
